Evaluate the adverts (Unit 20: M3,D2)

Learning outcome 3 (Unit 20): Be able to produce the planned media components Explain how the created media components comply with the codes and conventions of the media sectors (U20 M3) For our video advert we got an idea from the McDonald's quarter pounder advert and how the main character changed clothes to show each of the years from past to present. We decided to take a twist on that as we saw it was popular so we decided to do changes of clothing. We thought this would be popular as the music makes the video and having our main character dance round to each of the songs created an upbeat feeling to the video which will make people enjoy it more. By making it humorous it will be shared around and be even a good word of mouth review and therefore it will give us more brand awareness and we could become as popular as brands such as Diet Coke and Pepsi as they are the drinks people automatically think of when people suggest fizzy drinks. Create the adverts (Unit 20: P4,M3)

Learning Outcome 3 (Unit 20): Be able to produce the planned media components Create production materials to be used in the original media product (U20 P4) For phizzwizzard we made three adverts a billboard, a magazine and a video advert. This is because we then have different ways to target different target audiences who we want to buy the drink. We had a theme throughout which was about it being phizzylicious and that was out slogan as I feel its catchy and people will remember it and when they do they will want to buy the drink. Bilboard Audience feedback For a billboard it fills the space nicely and therefore it will catch the attention of those driving or walking past it. They liked how the can is the main focus and the same on how the slogan is one of the biggest fonts on the billboard because it's wanted to be remembered. Learning Outcome 2 (unit 20) Be able to plan a cross media advertising campaign to a client brief (P2 U20) Create a plan for a cross media advertising campaign in response to a client brief (Completed as part of a group with Guy and Sam) Plan for video Our video idea is having someone drink Phizzwizzard, proceeding to re-live their youth, in their fully grown form. This relates to the client brief in a clever way, as it matches the call to bring the older generation back to their youth.  This is going to be done by starting off with someone who is in their 30s/40s, drinking the can of Phizzwizzard, the secondary target audience for the drink. This will be followed by sudden music and we see the main character slowly go back each year, as he relives his childhood. We see the music change and a costume for each of those years.
